Fix N’ Mod is the product of two engineers from Detroit wanting to offer what the other guys can’t. Most IT companies offer what they’ve bought into. Most data repair companies ship out their drives. Most data system builders and automation techs aren’t willing to do any hard coding. Most repair shops will replace parts before even attempting board-level repairs. You could say while most companies are following guides, we make the guides.
While we have both worked many different tech jobs over the past 15 years, tech isn’t just a job to us—it’s our life, passion, and obsession. We’ve both been bending circuits and making inventions since we were kids and we’ve never stopped learning. There are experts that put in their hours, and then there’s guys like us that build portable sine-wave converters running off 200 18650 batteries for fun when we hang out. To put it bluntly, we’re ethical hackers and we’re proud of it.
Want a drone made that can do lidar and heat scanning? We want to make that. A secure server meant to run virtual machines on 200 PCs? Sounds fun. Turning a coffee table into a multi-video game console? We are overflowing with excitement.
